Delegates from REEDS India visit CHARLTON BROWN ® !
Last December CHARLTON BROWN®’s CEO Kay Ganley was invited to present at the Rural Economic and Educational Development Society (REEDS) Skills 2010 Conference in Hyderabad, India.
Kay attended the conference along with a small delegation of ACPET members. Kay delivered a presentation on ‘Vocational Education and Training in Australia – The Role of the Private Sector’. Kay also facilitated an Asia-Pacific Forum following the inaugural forum held at the ACPET National Conference in Melbourne last August.
Ravi Reddy and Professor Sadananda, members of the REEDS board, recently visited Brisbane to meet with Kay and fellow ACPET delegates following the conference.
Ravi and Sada visited CHARLTON BROWN®’s new campus in Chinatown Mall and discussed opportunities for further collaboration with regards to training in the community services industry, particularly aged care and nursing.
REEDS are interested in partnering to develop a short courses training program to improve the skills of workers with a focus on hands on, practical learning.
